Liz graduated from John Marshall High School in Cleveland. She moved to Mansfield after marrying the love of her life, Louie. Together they raised a wonderful family, instilling in their children values of kindness, compassion and the importance of family. She was a devoted, loving mother to her 3 sons and a proud Baba to her 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Elizabeth worked at Crane Plumbing for 35 years, where she was the sunshine of the office and devoted to her job as Customer Service Representative.
Her Macedonian heritage was very important to her, and she loved nothing better than celebrating family events filled with traditional music and food. You never left a gathering hungry, as she made all the favorites. She loved the music and dancing.
The Mansfield Area Y was a special place for Liz. She enjoyed her classes there and the many friendships she made over the years.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and a life lived with grace and purpose. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Elizabeth is survived by three sons, Dr. Ted (Heidi) Sazdanoff, Mike (Catherine) Sazdanoff, Donald (Henrietta) Sazdanoff; nine grandchildren, Jon (Ashley), Nick (Katie), Chris (Megan), Greg (Kelsie), Elizabeth, Mathew, Isabelle (Jacob), Alexandra, and Michael; 10 great grandchildren, Haydon, Adella, Lily, Leo, Theo, Sofia, Vivienne, John, Gwen and Benjamin. She is also survived by sisters – in –law Mildred Sazdanoff and Theresa Mitroff and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her loving husband, Louie; her parents; brothers, Lazier Stevens, Bogier Stevens, George Stevens; and sisters Eloise Stefanovich and Angeline Schornik.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 12:00 p.m. Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 with Elder Mark Siezing officiating. She will be laid to rest in Mansfield Cemetery.
