
Ella J. Walker, 77, of Mansfield, died Saturday afternoon, August 13, 2005 at home. Born May 2, 1928 in Olive Hill, Kentucky, she was the daughter of William and Vina Webb Snipes. She retired from Crestline Paints and enjoyed her pets.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Loretta and Kenneth Ginter of Shelby, and Linda and Robert Hatfield of Mansfield; two sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Juanita Erwin of Mansfield, and Richard and Darlene Bays of Shelby; two stepsons and daughter-in-law, Doug Krizan, and his fiancée, Diane Everly, of Stafford, and Jim and Carol Walker of Howe, Michigan; one stepdaughter, Deana Bays of Shelby; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Garnet Fox of North Carolina, and Dorothy Goon of Shelby; one brother and sister-in-law, Ballard and Anne Snipe of North Carolina; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Joan and Kianna. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arliss Walker; parents; four sisters; and one brother.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at Mansfield Memorial Park conducted by Mrs. Walker's grandson, Rev. Kenneth Ginter, Jr. Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
