Emma Cottrill

Emma Cottrill, 85, of Mansfield, died Saturday morning, February 04, 2006 at Crystal Care Nursing Home following an extended illness. Born January 8, 1921 in Chillicothe, she was the daughter of Levi and Hazel Lowrey Grubb. She lived in the area since 1949 and was a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Anna Cottrill, and Tim and Annette Cottrill, all of Mansfield; seven grandchildren, Michelle Cottrill, Tim Cottrill, Jr., Shelley McPeek, Brandy, Brandon, Brent, and Brittany Cottrill; four great-grandchildren, Caitlyn, Aimee and Jared McPeek, and Taylor Cottrill; one brother, Colon Grubb of Ashland, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Cottrill; parents; and seven brothers and sisters, Raymond, Zack, Marcella, Mary, Pauline, Louise, and Ruth.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2006 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Arthur L. Lowe and Rev. Perry Brafford. Burial will follow in Springmill Cemetery.
