
Eugene Lehman, 70, of Mansfield, died Wednesday, August 27, 2008. He went home to be with the Lord. Born March 5, 1938, in Mansfield, he was the son of William and Goldie Kinton Lehman. He retired from General Motors after 37 years of service and was a member of the Apostolic Faith Assembly and the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Winter Haven, FL where he and his wife, Nancy, spent the winter months. Eugene enjoyed spending time on the computer, boating, motorcycles and car shows.
Surviving are his wife of over 50 years, Nancy McEvoy Lehman, whom he married February 9, 1957; two daughters, Carla Williams of Marion and Vicki Mike Finley of Mansfield; five grandchildren, Aaron, Lisa, Bryan and David Williams and Chad Sherry Finley; five great grandchildren, Chantress and Caden Dewitt and Alyssa, Noah and Micah Gene Finley; a brother, Ronald Kay Lehman of Crestline; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Rex Irvin Lehman.
Family and friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Monday, September 1, 2008, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. His going home celebration will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Apostolic Faith Assembly conducted by Pastor Robert O'Brian and his grandson, Chad Finley with additional calling hours from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Apostolic Faith Assembly.
