
She was born July 11, 1943, in Grayson, Kentucky, one of seven children of the late Carson Blevins, Jr. and Lula Marie Crum Blevins. Evelyn was most recently a homemaker. She was a member of Citi Church and enjoyed spending quiet time in her flower garden. Evelyn was considered by her family to be an awesome cook and they enjoyed being spoiled with her delicious meals. Evelyn enjoyed NASCAR and was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. An independent woman, she fought her cancer with strength and always had a beautiful smile on her face and the way she laughed was very unique and contagious. Overall, Evelyn was a strong and courageous person.
She is survived by five children, Connie (Jerry) Todd of Cheyenne, WY, Gwen (Jack) Lykins of Mansfield, OH, Sherry (James) Pitts of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Garth (Dawn) Stephens of Mansfield, OH, and Derek (Dory) Rawlings of Columbus, OH; 16 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; remaining siblings; and many nieces and nephews.
For those who wish, memorial contributions in Evelyn's name may be made at any First Merit Bank to assist the family with expenses.
There will be no calling hours or funeral services observed. Wappner Cremation Center is privileged to serve the family.
