Evelyn Mae Swank

Evelyn Mae Swank, 84, of Mansfield, passed away at Mansfield Memorial Homes on Thursday, February 7, 2019. Evelyn was born on April 29, 1934 in Mansfield, Ohio. She was the daughter of Wilson and Grace (Tabor) Boggs.

Evelyn was employed for ten years at Isaly's Dairy, and retired after 33 years from Willis, Osmond and Beilstein. She was a past member of the Moose Lodge #47, and a member of Richland Camera Club, and AARP. She loved horses, photography, and had a great interest in family genealogy.

She is survived by her sons, Michael (Nancy Cone) Phipps and David Phipps; step-daughters, Catherine Swank-Green and Pamela (David) Waleri; step-son, Stephen (Kimberly) Swank; grandsons, Justin and Austin Phipps; step-grandchildren, Christopher and Marc Waleri, and Tiffany, Alecia, and Charles Swank; step great grandchildren, Jordan, Heather, Jake and Mia Waleri; five step great-great grandchildren; and her first husband, Richard Phipps. She was preceded in death by her parents; second husband, William Hahn; third husband, Charles Swank, daughter-in-law, Connie; and her favorite dog, Sadie.

Evelyn's family will accept friends on Thursday, February 14, 2019 from 12:00-2:00 pm at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S Diamond Street. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm. Pastor Clyde Kerby will officiate the service. Burial will be in Bellville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Richland County Humane Society.
