Florence M Young, age 97, of Knoxville, Tennessee, died Thursday, April 15, 2004, at Shannondale Health Care in Knoxville, Tennessee. Mrs. Young was born September 10, 1906, in Summerfield, Pennsylvania to John William and Rose Ann Seese Fearer. She was a Mansfield area resident most of her life, moving to Tennessee in March of 1996.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, James L. and Lenore Young of Knoxville, Tennessee; a granddaughter, Leslie Ayers of Augusta, Georgia; and three great-granddaughters, Sarah, Emily and Stephanie. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James L. Young in June of 1982; and two sisters, Charlotte Conaway & Mary Glover.
Funeral services will be held at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Thursday, April 22 at 1:30 p.m. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:30 until the time of the service. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
