Frank Miller

He was born December 3, 1943 in Brownsville, Tennessee to the late Zell Miller, Sr. and Lorine (Caldwell) Miller-Smith of Mansfield. Frank worked at Ohio Brass for 17 years and retired from MANCI in January 2011. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church. Frank enjoyed listening to various types of music, especially jazz and R&B soul. He enjoyed his hobbies of fishing and playing golf. He loved to watch the Waltons, westerns, Tiger Woods and was a die hard fan of the Cleveland Browns. Frank’s most favorite past time was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Frank leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 49 years, Nadene (Mathews) Miller; his mother, Lorine Caldwell Miller-Smith; two brothers, Joseph P. Miller of Mansfield and Zell Miller, Jr. of Austin, TX; a son, Myron K. Miller of Mansfield; two daughters, Carmel (Chris) Miller-Brown and Tammy L. Miller of Spring Valley, CA; six grandchildren, Erick L. (Amy) Miller, Leeo I. (Sarah) Miller, Marquise T. Smith, Teyron K. Bluester, Brandy N. (Akeem) Miller and Dierra N. Bluester; 12 great grandchildren, Anthony, Jordan, Samara, Iyiana, Zaveon, Xavier, Emariya, Sylas, Syrese, Symirr, Bella and Bryce; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and lifetime best friends, Cornell Delk and Tom Hasley. Frank was preceded in death by his father, Zell Miller, Sr.; brothers, Willie H. Miller and John L. Miller; step father, Pete Smith; grandparents, Jack and Catherine Caldwell; and a great granddaughter, Jesselyn Ciara Crawford.

Friends may visit from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 15, 2011 at Providence Baptist Church, 112 West 6th Street, Mansfield conducted by Rev. Dr. Thomas Hunt. Repast will follow after services. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

The family will receive friends at his home on Linda Lane until the day of visitation.
