
Almon A. Kash, 83, of 842 Pennsylvania Ave. died at home Wednesday morning December 1, 1999. Mr. Kash, who left this world to be with his Savior, was born July 20, 1916 in Dunkirk, Indiana living in the Mansfield area most of his life, moving here from Olive Hill, Kentucky. He retired from American Electrical Products in 1982. He was a member of Grace Chapel of Mansfield where he served as an elder and also attended First Church of the Open Bible. Mr. Kash enjoyed woodworking and gardening. He served in the United States Army in the European Theatre.He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Maxine Jarvis Kash; three sons, Ron Kash of Miami Beach, Florida, Jamie Kash of Ashland, and Wayne Kash of Mansfield; a daughter, Cheryl Kash of Mansfield; thirteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; four step grandchildren; and a brother, Raymond Kash of Hayesville, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harlan & Rebbeca K. Kash; a beloved son, Gary Kash in l986; a dear granddaughter, Jennifer Kash in 1996; two brothers, William Kash and Wilbur Kash; and one sister, Virginia Bays.Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Sunday December 5, 1999 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday December 6, 1999 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Ralph E. Smith, Jr. Military services will be held at Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
