Gerald Brown

Gerald Roger Brown, 64, of 1004 North Stewart Road died Tuesday, March 21, 2006, in Mansfield after an extended illness. Mr. Brown was born November 7, 1941, in Mansfield. He worked at Mansfield Tire and Rubber Co. and Community Action MRM TOAP.

Surviving are his wife, Veronica K. Williams Brown; one daughter, Lisa Gerald Murphy of Hilliard, Ohio; one son, Gerald Roger William Brown of Mansfield, Ohio; two grandchildren, Daniele Amber-Nicole Murphy and Gerald Delano-Alexander Murphy of Hilliard, Ohio; three brothers, Ronald, Johnny Daphne and Albert of Detroit, Michigan; and three sisters-in-law, Barb Bill Waters, Pat Williams, and Yvonne Stan Muhammad. Gerald was preceded in death by his father, William Brown; mother, Geneva Hunt Jones; brothers, Ricky, Allen, Cornell and Michael Jones of Harrisburg, Penn.; and sister, Sandra Jones of Harrisburg, Penn.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 25, 2006, at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors officiated by Rev. Gerald D. Murphy. Calling hours will be observed at the funeral home from 12-1 PM. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Crestline, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made.
