Gloria Anderson

Gloria J. 'Mugga Jeannie' Anderson, 56, of Mansfield, died Wednesday, July 27, 2005, at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Born August 31, 1948, in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Edwin Keith Layfield and Ada Pearl Weekley Fogg. She was very devoted to her children and grandchildren and always considered everyone her family.

She is survived by a daughter, Misty Mark Smith of Mansfield; son, Chad Tara Anderson of Mansfield; nine grandchildren, Joshua, Jeffrey, Brandon, Bradley, Mark Lee, Alexis, Nickolaus, Lukas, Logan; father, Edwin Layfield of Bellville; mother, Ada Fogg of Mansfield; two foster sons, Steve Jane Schwartz and Scott Schwartz; five foster grandchildren, Michelle, Matthew, Michael, Melissa, and Megan; two foster great-grandchildren, Mason and Kelsey; two sisters, Nancy Russell and Karen Fogg, both of Mansfield; grandmother, Mildred Weekley; nephew, David Russell of London, England; niece, Tammy Steward of Mansfield; and all her family on the Weekley and Layfield sides. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Cecil Burton Weekley; brother, Danny Fogg; three uncles, Cecil F., Leon and Duane Weekley; and great-aunt, Gertrude Cramer.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 1, 2005, at 1:00 p.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, conducted by Pastor David Bates and Pastor Daniel E. Bates. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 12-1 p.m. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
