Gohan Diesel Eddleblute died unexpectedly Tuesday, October 4, 2011. When God calls little children to dwell with Him above, we mortals sometime question the wisdom of His love. For no heartache compares with the death of one small child who does so much to make our world seem wonderful and mild. Perhaps God tires of calling the aged to His fold, so He picks a rosebud before it can grow old. God knows how much we need them, and so He takes but few to make the land of Heaven more beautiful to view. Believing this is difficult still somehow we must try, the saddest word mankind knows will always be “Goodbye.” So when a little child departs, we who are left behind must realize God loves children. Angels are hard to find. He was born 10 weeks early on April 13, 2011 to Ryan Eddleblute and Bethany Lomax. Gohan spent seven weeks at Akron Children’s Hospital before coming home. His father was the one who got to choose his special name. People with this name tend to be very inspired, intuitive and creative. Their aim is to improve the world and can be quite altruistic. They strive to see the “big picture” and achieve their dreams.
Along with his parents, he was survived by his paternal grandparents, Rod and Sue Eddleblute; maternal grandparents, Luke and Angie Lomax; paternal great step grandmother, Janet Barnett; maternal great grandparents, Doug and Linda Atwell and Luke and Joyce Lomax; maternal great great grandmothers, Madge Shaver, Jean Loveland, and Hattie Daugherty; uncles, Trevor Atwell, Dalton Lomax, AJ Eddleblute, and Stephen Logan; aunts, Kaite Eddleblute, Hannah Logan, and Bekah Logan; and numerous other family members. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Christine Eddleblute; paternal step great grandfather, Mervell Barnett; paternal great grandparents, Clyde and Peggy Eddleblute and Jack and Rose Erdenberger; maternal great grandmother, Zona Atwell; maternal cousin, Brogan Raddish; great great grandmother, Ruth Lomax; great great grandfathers, Ralph Lomax, Cleon Shaver, James Loveland, and Frank Atwell.
