Gregory A. Gerich

Gregory attended The Ohio State University, and then worked for over 30 years at MOES Acoustics, Ludwig-Zahn, and BC&G Weithman. He was an instructor with Lew Petit Driving School for many years. He was an avid golfer, and he refereed football, basketball, and baseball in the Mansfield area for over 35 years. Gregory organized and operated the Madison Athletic Boosters Bingo. He also attended Crossroads Community Church.

Gregory is survived by his wife, Linda K. (Horvath) Gerich of Mansfield; daughter, Andrea D. Gerich of Mansfield; son and daughter-in-law, Michael R. and Lacey Gerich of Mansfield; step-daughter, Melissa R. Snively of Lakewood; and his brother and sister-in-law, Rick and Ellen Gerich of Mansfield. Gregory was preceded in death by his parents; and in-laws, Frank and Esther Horvath.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Chaplain Jill Waite officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Friendly House.
