Gregory was born on April 1, 1969 in Columbus, Ohio. He was the son of George Holmes and Sally (Condon) and Don Mullin. Gregory retired from the City of Mansfield where he worked for over 30 years with the sewer department. He married the love of his life, Beth Chelski on June 18, 1994. Together they built a beautiful life that they loved living together. A giving, generous, kind hearted man, Gregory spent his life helping others.
Gregory was a member of Lake Maria Campground where he developed many dear friendships, and they became his second family. He enjoyed the relaxation of the RV life, and hosting cornhole tournaments. Gregory played co-ed softball locally, and enjoyed golfing. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye and Cleveland Brown fan. He was a member of the Owls.
Gregory leaves behind his wife, Beth Holmes; his children, Ashley Pfiffner, Austin Holmes, and Andrew (Destinee Green) Holmes; his brother, Eric Holmes; his step-sister, Stephanie Schlupp; his in-laws, Gene (Bev) Chelski and Sue Chelski; his uncle and aunt, Charlie (Nancy) Fisher; many cherished family and friends; his adopted children, Abby Markey and Brandon Markey; and his adopted grandchild, Noelle. He was preceded in death by his parents.
