

Harold E. Baker, 65, passed away early Monday morning, June 11, 2012 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Born February 9, 1947, in Mansfield, he was the son of the late Warren and Sarah (Amsbaugh) Baker.
Harold was a 1965 graduate of Mansfield Senior High School. He enjoyed golfing, was an avid bowler and enjoyed taking short trips to wherever he wanted whenever he wanted to. Harold was a very caring and hard-working man who loved country music and his dog, Bear. He was a member of the AmVets, Moose and Sons of Herman.
He is survived by his longtime companion and best friend, Sharon Sargent; children, Angela (Sean) Rush, David (Shelby) Baker and Kyle (Brittany) Sargent; five grandchildren, Loren, Krysten, Cody, Taylor and Reghan; one great-granddaughter, Makyah; a sister, Carol (Don) Forwith; several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Heather Baker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Neil Baker.
Friends and family may visit from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2012 and 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Thursday in the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. Pastor Joe Esarey of Community Bible Church will conduct the service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
