Harold served in the United States Navy. He worked as an electrician for Ideal Electric where he played softball in his younger years. Harold was a lover of science fiction, riding motorcycles with his brothers and enjoyed working on cars with his son Scott.
Harold is survived by his daughter, Monica (Robert) Bair of Mansfield; son, Scott Payne of Mansfield; grandchildren, Ashley and Alec Bair and Shala Payne; great-grandchild, Cason Bair; brothers, Drenn (Carol) Workman of Mansfield and Lavon Workman of Crestline; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his wife, Susan Payne; and a daughter, Lisa Payne.
There will be no services observed at this time. The Wappner Cremation Center is honored to serve the family of Harold Payne.
