On Thursday, December 24, 2015, the world lost a good man. Harold E. Stanley passed away at Mansfield Memorial Homes at the age of 81. He was born January 10, 1934, in Mansfield, Ohio, to the late Arthur and Ruth Stanley.
Harold was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army and was proud to have served his country. He was hard-working and enjoyed his life as a farmer on the homestead he loved. Harold was a wonderful father and, although very busy, made time for fun and had an ornery streak that showed up occasionally. In his free time, he enjoyed following The Ohio State Buckeyes Football Team.
He is survived by a son, Thad (Kathy) Cetinich of Mansfield; four grandchildren, Tabitha, Bethany, and Malory Cetinich, all of Mansfield and Cole Cetinich of Washington; two great-grandchildren, Jaxson Henry and Logan Schuler, both of Mansfield; and a brother, Donald "Don" Stanley of Selinsgrove, PA. He was preceded in death by his companion of many years, Doris Noble, and his parents.
There will be no services or visitation at this time. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family.
