

Hattie Martin transitioned this life on Friday September 28,2018. She ascended at home surrounded by family and friends. Hattie was born July 12, 1942 in Brownsville, Tennessee to Elex and Evelyn Withers and Leotha Wise-Bond. She was a homemaker who loved cooking, family gatherings and shopping. She inspired many and touched many lives. She was loved by all and also known as “Granny” to everyone. She lived by the scripture “With God all things are Possible” Matthew 19:26. She was a member of the South Side Church of Christ.
She leaves to cherish her memory to her children, Belinda (Leonard) Reed of Ohio, Audry (Woodrow) Carter of Myrtle Beach, Tammy Crawford of Ohio, Mary (Tom) Parker of Indiana, Willie (Debbie) Martin of Ohio, Andre Martin Sr. of Indiana, Katrinia (John) Mundy of Ohio, Andre Martin Jr. of Ohio; and a special daughter, Dequana Harney. A host of nieces,nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren; her siblings, Elex Withers Jr. of Ohio, Mark Withers of California, Jeff Withers of Ohio, Tony Withers of California, Evelyn (Jerry) Saunders of Ohio, Annie (Tommy) Taylor of Ohio, Gregory (Pamela) Reed, Lorene Mcneil all of Tennessee and Helen Adamson of Arkansas. Preceded in death by her son, Martin Dean Crawford; brother, Chester Withers; sister, Fannie Withers; Mother, Evelyn Withers; and father, Elex Withers.
The Celebration of her Life will be held at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 South Diamond St. Mansfield, Ohio 44902. Service will be Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 12:00 pm with visitation from 10:00 am-12:00 pm. Graveside service will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh, Ohio.
