Helen Lambert

Helen L. Morris Lambert, 73, of Mansfield, died Sunday evening, July 10, 2005, at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital after a brief illness. Born July 13, 1931, in Fairmont, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Perry and Virginia Cook Shaffer. She was an area homemaker most of her life.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Laura Morris of Mansfield, James and Pam Morris of Lucas; four stepsons, David Lambert, Larry Lambert, Terry Lambert, and Jerry Lambert; four stepdaughters, Bonnie Campbell, Connie Blackstone, Linda Kephart and Margie Heimberger; grandchildren, Amanda Armstrong, Michael Morris, Sadana Morris, Crystal King, Laura Jean Morris, Jamie Langston, James P. Morris; numerous great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Clark and June Shaffer of Mansfield; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Donald Morris; second husband, Henry Lambert; brothers, Charles, Perry and Ward Shaffer; sisters, Alice Boyce, Jesse Dean and Mary Morris; stepson, Clint Lambert; and grandson, Jeremiah Morris.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Wednesday, July 13 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Philip Banks. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in care of Hospice of North Central Ohio.
