
Helen Marie Miller, 69, of Mansfield, died Monday, July 7, 2008 at her home. Born September 15, 1938 in Bandytown, West Virginia, she was the daughter of Bradford and Leona Workman White. Helen was a member of Wyandott Freewill Baptist Church. She had a way of keeping her family close, being the glue that held everyone together. Her grandchildren were the recipients of a multitude of love and she would spoil them whenever she could. Her children remember all the great times, her love of the Cleveland Indians, camping trips, and just spending time together with their mom. Helen had numerous occupations during her lifetime. Some may remember her from Manner's Restaurant, or possibly from Montgomery Ward, or her favorite, Stan's Family Restaurant. Her final occupation was as a hostess with Taco Bell in Ontario.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Denver Miller; three daughters, Karen Kenneth Gibson of Ontario, Sandy Eilenfeld of Mansfield, and Deb Darrell Mabry of Ontario; six grandchildren, Kara Rich Willett of Columbus, Keith Gibson of Ontario, Lauren and Daniel Eilenfeld, both of Mansfield, Christopher and Brian Mabry, both of Marietta, Georgia; three brothers, Dean Sue White, Jerry White, and Jimmy June White, all of Mansfield; three sisters, Anna Don Salyers, Delores Duran Parson, and Frances Sam Kinkade, all of Mansfield; two sisters-in-law, Janet White of West Virginia, and Elizabeth Miller of Maryland; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Doug and Karen Miller of West Virginia; brother-in-law, Bill Miller of West Virginia; family friend, Ellen Miller of West Virginia; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and other very close relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Billy Ray and Oather Lee White; sister, Karen Sue White; and brother-in-law, Lon Jr. Miller.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 10, 2008 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Brian Phillips. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
