Helen J. Neel

She retired from Crestline Paint around 2004. After retirement, she enjoyed family activities during holidays, specials occasions and Friday night football. She also enjoyed word search puzzles and painting her large collection of garden gnomes. She was an active member of Grace Fellowship Church in Mansfield, Ohio.

Surviving are her five children, Terri (Dan) Evans, Doug (Christina) Neel, Steve (Kathy) Neel, Connie Henderson and Bernie Neel. Also surviving are her 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother, George (Peggy), and sister, Nancy Stewart.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Neel; son, Rodney Neel; parents; two brothers and a sister.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2019 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 South Diamond Street, Mansfield. Services officiated by Pastor Jon Vega will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, September 14, 2019, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
