Helen Perry

Helen Louise McGraw Perry, 84, of Mansfield, died Thursday, November 11, 2010, at her residence. Born October 25, 1926, in Portsmouth, OH, she was the daughter of Oscar and Grace McDaniel McGraw. She retired from United Telephone and attended Berean Baptist Church. Helen was a talented seamstress, liked to crochet and enjoyed working in her flowers. A devoted Christian woman, she was dedicated to her family and enjoyed being with her friends.

Surviving are her husband, Joe Perry; daughters, Peggy Crandell, Donna Smith, Lois Mark Songer, Terri Perry and Jill David Haring; a son, Greg Pat Perry; grandchildren, Brian Solinger, George Crandell, Steve Smith, Jr., Rocky Smith, Lauren Urschitz, Scott Dennis, Weston Dennis, Grace Haring and David Haring; 14 great grandchildren; sisters, Jean Frye, Martha Thompson and Sue Morgan; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Donald, Bob and Jim; sisters, Ruth, Betty and Charlotte; and a son-in-law, Steve Smith.

Friends may call from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, November 14, 2010, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd, Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, November 15, 2010, at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Bill Heaton. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
