Henry Prinz

Henry G. Prinz, 77, of Mansfield, Ohio died Sunday, December 3, 2000 at MedCentral Mansfield after a brief illness. He was born February 23, 1923 in Mansfield, Ohio to Frederick and Julia Lustig Prinz. Mr. Prinz retired from Mansfield City Schools after 30 years of service, working at Hedges, Senior, Appleseed, Roseland, Malabar, Woodland and Empire. He was very fond of working on crossword puzzles and enjoyed fishing. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during WWII in the Submarine Division and participated in the Battle of Midway.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Concordia Harnagel Prinz of Mansfield, OH; three daughters and a son-in-law, Rosemary Hart, Connie and Gary Margot and Irene McConnell all of Mansfield, OH; three grandchildren, Carrie & Kelli Margot of Mansfield, OH and Sean McConnell of Columbus, OH; one brother, Fred Prinz of Minnesota; two aunts, Kate Prinz and Leona Prinz; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick & Julia Prinz.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Tuesday, December 5, 2000 from 7 - 9 p.m. Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 6, 2000 at 10:30 a.m., conducted by Rev. David Pound. Burial will be held in Mansfield Memorial Park. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mansfield Christian School. Online guest register at www.wappner.com.
