

Iris A. (Creswell) Stall, 97, of Mansfield, died Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Wedgewood Estates. Born September 13, 1914 in Morrow County, she was the daughter of William H. and Velma (Lepp) Creswell.
Iris graduated from Iberia High School in 1932, attended Columbus Business College and was a graduate of Mansfield Business Institute. A homemaker, she married Kenneth Stall on May 9, 1936 and lived in Mansfield and near Iberia after Kenny’s retirement. Iris also worked as a bookkeeper for Wappner Furniture and Levings Dairy. Iris was a former member of the Presbyterian Church of Iberia and also attended Main St. United Methodist Church of Mansfield. She was also a member of The Eastern Star and charter member of the Blue Bell Twig.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Vicky Schoenman and Eric (Connie) Homerick; two great grandchildren, Jennifer Schoenman and Elizabeth Homerick; five great-great grandchildren, Trenton, Isaiah, Dominic, Mariah, and Cordell; two sisters, Ruth Schiler of Mansfield and Wanda Taylor of Marysville; a brother, Robert (Faith) Creswell of Mt. Gilead; and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Stall on January 21, 2000; her daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Lawrence Homerick; infant brother, Billy; great-great grandson, Mark; and niece, Mary Jean Adams.
Friends may call Monday, March 26, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd., Ontario. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, conducted by Senior Care Pastor Jim Cheatham of First Alliance Church. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Iberia Presbyterian Church, Alzheimer’s Association of Richland County, or donor’s choice.
