Irma Wolfe

Irma E. Wolfe, 87, of Mansfield died early Wednesday morning, September 3, 2003 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. She was born September 4, 1915 in Mansfield to Rolla and Wilda Guiesinger Cross. Irma was a member of Mansfield Baptist Temple and very involved in her church.

She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Audrey Schneider of Phoenix, Arizona and Phyllis and Ralph Harbaugh of Mansfield; four grandchildren, Tom and Kim Schneider of Centerville, Ohio, and Kathy Tackett of Mansfield, Jeff and Jeri Harbaugh of Huntsville, Alabama, John Harbaugh of Mansfield; seven great-grandchildren and their spouses, Courtney Schneider, Lauren Schneider, and Morgan Schneider, Chris and Tori Tackett, Troy and Denna Hawkins, Jodell and Robert Newberry, Austin Harbaugh, and Alex Harbaugh,; great-great-grandchildren, Sidney Tackett, Kaley and Kristin Hawkins, Nathan Newberry, and Tessla Newberry; a niece, Gloria DeWitt, her husband, Edward and children, Mark, Darren, Vance, Kevin and Kelly Harvey; and a nephew, Bob Berentz, his wife, Mary and children, Ernie Berentz and Karen and Jack Jennings. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Pearl Berentz; son-in-law, Charles R. Schneider; grandson, Charles R. Schneider, Jr.; and great-grandson, Luke Tackett.

Funeral services conducted by Rev. Dale V. Adkins will be held Saturday, September 9 at 1:00 p.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Mansfield Baptist Temple or the Salvation Army.
