Jack Richard Hall, 96, of Mansfield, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Ashland. He was born in Mansfield on June 5, 1926 to the late Fred C. and Martha E. (Stutz) Hall.
Jack never knew a stranger and loved to go eat at Bob Evans with his family and friends. He enjoyed golfing and bowling. A proud veteran of the U.S. Army, Jack served in the Pacific Theater in World War II. He was a delivery driver for Nickles Bakery where he later retired in 1988 after 32 years. Jack was a member of Faith United Methodist Church.
Jack is survived by his children, Jan (Tony) Howman, Marcy Boyle, Kim (Eddie) Svejkovsky and Jennifer Massey; eight grandchildren, Mindy (Steve) Owens, Lora (Ben) Weithman, Kathy (Chris) Kozusko, Tony II (Mindy) Howman, Alex Boyle, Wayne (fiancée, Nicole Smith) Svejkovsky, Jessica (Jared) Golson and Jacky Massey; 17 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Judith Anne, whom he married on September 1, 1956; son, Michael Hall; son-in-law, Robert Boyle; siblings, Mona Evadian Hall, Frazier Hall, Mildred Fisher and Elwood Hall; grandson, Michael Hall Jr.; and twin grandsons, Kenneth and Edwin Svejkovsky.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield, Ohio 44902. A service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 11, 2022 beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Chaplain Reginald Cureton officiating. He will be laid to rest in Windsor Park Cemetery.
