James Kidd

James W. Kidd, 91, of 867 Forest Dr. died September 15, 1999 at Mifflin Care Center following an extended illness.  Mr. Kidd was born June 26, 1908 in Wayne County, West Virginia residing in the Mansfield area since 1948.  He retired as Project Superintendent from U.S. Corps of Engineers at Charles Mill Dam.  Mr. Kidd was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Patty & John Hamilton of Ashland, Ohio; Mazella 'Mae' & Ed Seamour of Mansfield; one son and daughter-in-law, Iliff & Susan Kidd of Lakewood, Colorado; 24 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two daughters-in-law, Hazel Kidd Johnson of Florida; and Brenda Kidd Mace of West Virginia; one sister, Tina Mae Zeisler of Chillicothe, Ohio; and several nieces & nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest & Mazella Endicott Kidd; his wife, Edith M. Holt Kidd of Mansfield; three sons, Donald, Artie and Jimmy Kidd; two brothers; and three sisters. Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Friday September 17, 1999 from 6 to 9 p.m.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday September 18, 1999 at 2:30 p.m. conducted by Pastor Eric Thoman.    Military graveside services will be in Windsor Park Cemetery.
