James M. McGinnis, age 72, of Mansfield, died Tuesday evening December 7, 2010 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Mr. McGinnis was born April 22, 1938 in Carter, Kentucky living in the Mansfield area most of his life. He retired from General Motors after 36 ½ years of service. Mr. McGinnis was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Jim never met a stranger, he was a friend to everyone and will be truly missed by all that knew him.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Audrey; three grandchildren, Kristy Shawn Trombley, Sara Wollard, and rocky Wollard all of Flint, MI; four great-grandsons, Cody, Jordan & Owen and Aaron Cook; and a special aunt, Joy & Wade Floyd of Dayton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Othel & Lottie Lewis McGinnis and a daughter, Debra Wollard.
