Janet Schnuerer

Janet Sue Guth Schnuerer, 69, Mansfield, died Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at Lexington Court Nursing Home. Born July 4, 1939, in Brazil, Indiana, she was the daughter of Herman and Bertha L. Tilley Knoll. An area homemaker, she was a member of First Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. She was active in the bell choir and the Women's Missionary Prayer group and sang in the choir. She was a dedicated supporter of her children, their spouses and her grandchildren. Janet was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth F. Schnuerer; sons, J. Jay Jill Guth, Jeffrey Barb Guth and Joshua Kelly Guth, all of Mansfield, and Joel Jill Guth of Dublin; daughters, Julie Rob Guiler of Johnstown and Jennifer Mark Kornhaus of Downington, PA; five stepchildren, Debbie Edwards of Ocala, FL, David Ruth Schnuerer of Columbus, Brenda Brian Bumpus, Jeffrey Tammy Schnuerer and Jennifer Mike Montgomery, all of Mansfield; fourteen grandchildren; nine step grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; brother, Herman "Sonny" Knoll of Waukesha, WI; stepbrother, Jim Tilley of Greencastle, IN; and several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one stepbrother and one grandson, Evan Guth.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2008, at First Christian and Missionary Alliance Church conducted by S.R. Care Pastor Jim Cheatham. Friends may also call one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Burial will be follow in Greenlawn Union Cemetery, Perrysville.
