
Jean McFarland, 75, of Mansfield, died Sunday, May 3, 2009 at her home. Born August 27, 1933 in Loudonville, she was the daughter of Fred and Edna Arnholt Kauffman. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church. Jean enjoyed traveling, playing cards, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Ruth Ann Brandt, and Cynthia Stan Russell, all of Mansfield; one son, James W. McFarland of Shelby; grandchildren, Joseph W. Brandt, Michael T. Brandt, Callie McFarland, William H. McFarland, Maribeth McFArland, and Robyn Russell; great-grandchildren, Zachery, Emily, and Natalie Brandt; brother, Paul Jean Kauffman; sister, Helen Pifer; aunt, Lucille Baldner; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. McFarland; parents; brothers, Carl, Donald, Robert, and Harold Kauffman; and sister, Ruth Kauffman.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First English Lutheran Church conducted by Rev. Paul L. Larson. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Perrysville.
