

Jerry worked in the landscaping field. He was a loving father and loved spending time with his daughters and grandchildren. He was generous to a fault and always believed in helping others. A near death experience brought him closer to Christ and he had recently been saved. Although he will be missed his family is comforted that he at home with Jesus.
He is survived by his ex-wife and best friend, Suzanne Madden; two daughters, Ashley Madden and April (Deauntae) Madden; nine grandchildren, Davonta Madden, Aveonna Madden, Tyreke Stokes, Marcus Wilson, Naraiyh Wilson, Jahkeleus Harris, Alaysia Madden, Kamari Madden and Kamiyah Harris; one great grandchild, Nihzavion Toddie; his mother; and six siblings, Mary Foreman, Larry (Sherry) Madden, Terry (Marsha) Madden, Brenda (Billy) Madden, Wanda (Tim) Brown and Carletta (Rick) Grebenik.
He was preceded in death by his father; two brothers, Ronald Madden and Donald Madden; a sister, Lila Madden; and a grandchild, Angelo Madden.
Friends may call from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. Sunday, August 13, 2017 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, August 14, 2017 at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Mickey Miller. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Wappner Funeral Directors to help defray funeral expenses.
