
He was born January 10, 1959, in Tiffin Ohio, to the late Dale and Marcia (Morehart) Stevens. John married Sue A. Schriner, and later was divorced.
John was a graduate of Mohawk High School and also earned a Business degree from Terra State Community College.
John is survived by his children, Michael (Casey) Stevens of Canal Winchester, Jennifer and Marcia Stevens, both of McCutchenville, Debra (Michael) Weisenberger of Tiffin, Mary (Ron) Jenkins of McCutchenville; and grandchildren, Kaylee, Sophie and Liam; the love of his life, Stephanie Apidone and her mother Marilyn Gibson who was a very special person in his life and his good friend Torre Gibson.
John is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Richard Briney.
John had a very big heart. He loved to help others, especially his friends at the Diamond Hills Baptist Church where he was very active and a faithful attender. John's hobbies included mushroom and arrowhead hunting. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. John loved his pets Cinderella and Skrapee.
John's Memorial Service will be held at the Diamond Hills Baptist Church, 647 S. Diamond St. Mansfield, OH on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 3:00 pm. Memorial Contributions may be made to the church, or the Richland County Humane Society.
