Joyce Dennison

Joyce Marie Dennison, 82, of Ashland, died early Friday morning, July 22, 2011 at Samaritan Regional Health System. Born January 9, 1929 in Rowan County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of John and Pearl (Sweeney) Wallace. A homemaker, her family was the most important to her.

She is survived by her three children, John (Melinda) Dennison, Pam (Craig) Henry and Scott (Diane) Dennison all of Ashland; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren; three brothers, Charles (Marge) Gregory of Galion, Clayton (Mary) Wallace of Florida and John (Jean) Wallace, Jr. of Shelby; four sisters, Olive Abrams of Nankin, Frances (Ed) Mackey of Shelby, Linda Latimer of Mansfield, Kathy (Larry) Schaecherer of Mansfield; two sisters-in-law, Virginia (Jan) Day of Shelby and Carol Gregory of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Dennison; four brothers, Glen Wallace, Lloyd Wallace, C. Ray Gregory and Larry Wallace; brother-in-law, Robert Abrams; her step mother, Ida Wallace.

Graveside services will be held Monday, July 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Ashland Cemetery conducted by Rev. Donald Earlenbaugh.
