She was a stay at home mom for 20 years while her children were growing up and then went to work at the Concord Square Apartments as the manager for over 15 years. Following her retirement, she worked as a gift wrapper at the Richland Mall. She took great pride in her work especially her flower gardens with roses being her specialty. She was a true lady ~ elegant and classy ~ but was also the life of the party. She enjoyed jewelry, crocheting, walking and animals but her greatest enjoyment was her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert Santoro whom she married June 1, 1956; a daughter, Linda (Brian) Chapman of Mansfield; a son, Robert Santoro, Jr. (Serenity Fliger) of Mansfield; three grandchildren, Camille Myers, Charles (Cassie) Norris, III and Zechariah (Megan Gaddis) Dobbin; three great grandchildren, Brendan Norris and Madysen and Peyten Myers; three step grandchildren, Chelsey, Danielle and Faith Chapman; a sister, Vickie (Chuck) Kurtz; a brother, Carl Scott; a brother-in-law, Joseph Santoro; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Cox; four sisters-in-law, Ruth Santoro, Bertha Santoro, Marylee Santoro and Vi Scott; and a brother-in-law, Fred Santoro.
