Judy Hamilton-Duncan

Judy G. Hamilton-Duncan, age 61, of Mansfield died Saturday evening, September 3 2005, at her home with her family by her side. She went to be with the lord following a courageous five and a half year battle with lung cancer. Mrs. Duncan was born July 31, 1944 in Olive Hill, KY to Clyde and Katherine Abbott McGlone, and has lived in the Mansfield area most of her life. Judy was employed at Ashland Rubber, and was a member of the Dean Road Free Will Baptist Church, and a lifetime Member of the V.F.W. post #3494 Women's Auxiliary. Judy enjoyed making quilts for her children, baking wedding cakes, and spending time with her family. She was full of life and loved by everyone who met her. She will be missed by all.

Surviving are her loving husband of 24 years, Carmel Duncan who fully devoted himself to caring for her; adopted grandson, Joshua Hamilton; one son and daughter-in-law, Mickey & Tracey Hamilton of Mansfield; six daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca J. Carey of Shelby, Anita & Michael Hamlin of Lexington, Bonita & Todd Edgeworth of Arizona, Tammy Williams of Bellville, Amy & Bill Petry of Grove City, PA, and Sandy Byrd of Mt. Vernon; grandchildren, Tiffany, Melissa, and Bobby Hamilton, Trisha Carey, Caitlin Goad and Haley Hamlin, Gary and Kevin Williams, Emmett and Brandon Riesinger, and Amanda Craig; and three great-grandchildren; special sister, Betty Emogene Mosier of Mansfield; three brothers, Robert R. McGlone of Alabama, Joe H. McGlone of Mansfield, and James E. McGlone of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bobbie Hamilton; daughter, Paula Craig; parents, Clyde & Katherine McGlone; sister, Alice Ann McGlone; brother, Clyde Jack McGlone; and her granddaughter, Cassity Gail Goad.

Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Tuesday, September 6, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday September 7, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, conducted by Rev. Earl Tackett. Burial will be held in Mansfield Memorial Park.
