Judy Milligan

Judy G. Blankenship Milligan, 53, of Mansfield, died early Monday morning, March 12, 2007 at her home. She was born June 12, 1953 in Tazewell County, Virginia to Walter 'Mac' and Bessie Whitt Blankenship. An area homemaker most of her life, Judy was a member of the Ohio Iris Society at Kingwood Center and Women of the Moose Lodge #341. She was an avid flower gardener and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald E. Milligan; son, Scott Kate Milligan of Mansfield; daughter, Lori Jeremy Shambaugh of Mansfield; three stepsons, Ronald E. Milligan II and Marie of Shelby, John Melanie Milligan of Waterville, David Gail Milligan of Shelby; three grandchildren, Zakery, Emily and Alexis; six step grandchildren, Brandon, Brandy, Aubrey, Nathan, Sara and Austin; one step great-grandchild, Destiny; three brothers, Walter Frankie Blankenship, Jay Blankenship and Cheryle, all of Mansfield, Bob Louise Blankenship of Richmond, VA; three sisters, Darlious Bandy of Mansfield, Doris Houchins of Richlands, VA and Margaret Brown of Mansfield; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, sister, Mary Whitcomb, two brothers, John and Buford Blankenship, grandson, Noah Milligan and step grandson, Eric Milligan.

In keeping with Judy's wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral services. Memorial contributions may be made to MedCentral Hospice, 335 Glessner Ave., Mansfield, Ohio 44903. Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
