Julia Knefely, 92, of Mansfield, Ohio died Monday evening, May 28, 2001 at MedCentral Mansfield after a brief illness. Mrs. Knefely was born March 14, 1909 in Hungary living in the Mansfield area since 1938. She was former owner/operator of Anthony Knefely Travel Agency.
She is survived by a daughter, Gizella Kinkel of Mansfield; three grandchildren, John Kinkel and Ruth Kinkel Cropper, both of Mansfield and Laura Kinkel Oliver of Vermont; three great-grandchildren, Julia, Adam, and Hope; a sister, Wilma Rauch of Atlanta, Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin & Magdalene Welker Glaesser; her husband, Anthony Knefely; two brothers; and four sisters.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:00 a.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors conducted by Robert Freund. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park. Online guest registry at www.wappner.com.
