June A. Mong, 93, died Sunday evening, March 23, 2008 at Crystal Care Center in Mansfield after a long illness. She had been a resident of the Mansfield area since 1951. June had worked at Hartman Electrical Manufacturer and had retired from the United Telephone Company. She was always very active with her church and her family, and we will dearly miss her. June loved to garden, bake, can, and do crafts, and she shared her gifts with everyone.
She is survived by one child, Mrs. Donna Robert Dalenberg; two grandsons, Chad Dalenberg of Galion, and Doug Dalenberg of Crestline; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Mong in 2005; her parents, and her brother.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors conducted by Chaplain Alden J. Thibeau. Friends may call from 12 to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
