Justin Wayne Maffett

Justin graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in 2003. Justin worked as a painter. He lived life to the fullest, and was the life of the party. You could often find him cracking jokes or quoting funny movies. He had a great sense of humor and an unforgettable smile. Justin enjoyed a variety of music and attending concerts. He loved sports and could be found rooting for his favorite teams, Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Cavs and Kentucky Wildcats. He loved dirt track racing and hanging out with family and friends.

Surviving him are his parents, Anita and Wayne Maffett Jr., his three children, Jaylin, Jordan and Kole all of Mansfield; grandmothers, Rose Carroll and Shirley Maffett; uncle, Bill (Shelly) Carroll; aunts, Brenda Swank and Lori (Troy) Conrad all of Mansfield; his cousins who were like brothers and sisters, Zach, Adam, Beth, Halee, Kristi and Sean; special friends, Jeremy, Bobby, Miranda, Cydney and many others; and a host of other family. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Bill Carroll and Wayne Maffett Sr.

Family will receive friends at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington Springmill Road on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 6:00-9:00 pm. Rev. Gary Lambert and Pastor Hank Webb will officiate the funeral service at 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the funeral home with an additional hour of visitation from 1:00-2:00 pm. Justin will be laid to rest in Springmill Cemetery.
