K. Ruth Gottas Maul, 82, of Mansfield died Tuesday, February 25, 2003 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Mrs. Maul was born May 11, 1920 in Mansfield to Robert Frank Sr. and Katherine Angela Willner Gottas. She retired from Richland Bank after 28 years of service as a secretary.
She is survived by a sister, Eleanor Gottas Nichols of Glendora, California; brother, Charles Gottas of Springfield, Missouri; sister-in-law, Betty Sara Maul of Mansfield; nieces and nephews, Michelle Jacques of Arcadia, California, Roberta Peterson of Jefferson City, Missouri, Judy Young of Springfield, Missouri, Melinda Leitner of Ashland, Virginia, Kristen Beahm of Nashville, Tennessee and Ray Nichols of Pinion Hills, California; and several great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William H. Maul, whom she married December 13, 1947 and whom died August 31, 1976; and a brother, Robert Frank Gottas, Jr.
There will be no services or calling hours. Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
