To the Reedy Family which is also part of my family.My deepest sympathy to all of you. My cousin Karen has went on to be with others now. She certainly was a loving and wonderful person and will be missed by all, May God Bless all of us.

Aunt Sue and I had a connection that I couldn't explain. She knew me in a way that I don't think anyone else did. I didn't have to say anything- she just knew. I feel a great loss at the time that we missed with each other, but I also know that she will always be in my heart. In our last writing to each other, she told me that she would be watching over me, and I truly believe that she will :

Dear Bill, Joe & Family,

   I was so sorry to hear about your mother's passing.  Please know that she will always be with you in your heart & thoughts.  I will keep all of you in my prayers!  ^O^

KAREN will be missed by her family and friends, who loved her so much.I came across this poem, that I would like to share with her family and friends.
            WHEN I`M GONE

KAREN SUE AND I WERE ONLY STRANGERS FOR A MOMENT,SHE HELPED ME THROUGH WHEN I FELT LOST. HER HEART AND SPIRT BLESSED MY LIFE AND SHE MADE THIS WORLD A BETTER PLACE IN SO MANY WAYS. SHE WILL BE MISSED. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH HER FAMILY.

Karen was a caring person who had a love of family and life, She would give a stranger the clothes off her back or the last dollar in her pocket if they needed it. 

I will never forget meeting Karen for the first time 16 years ago, I was just the girl friend of a boy that ran around with her kids. But that didn't matter to Karen, She embraced me and my young son with open arms and welcomed us to the family. Several years later she came to my wedding even though her daughter Lisa and I were arguing and was not invited, and was around for the births of my children. She was always there to listen and give advice and to put me in my place if needed. She never judged me and always made me feel loved and welcome in her home. I didn't know it then and I don't think I fully understood it until she passed away and one of her Granddaughters called me over to see a picture of me at my wedding that she had kept in her family photo album, That My children and I were considered part of her adopted family and that we were blessed to have a woman like her in our lives. 

"A heart of gold stopped beating, two shining eyes at rest, God broke our hearts to prove He only takes the best"

To All the family of Karen Sue Reedy,  you are all in my prayers through this difficult time.  I have many memories of Sue and her family.  She will be missed!

My baby sister has left me, and emptiness fills her place.
But my years and the many losses I have felt has taught me to look forward to the new lives growing around me and to hold them close.
Karen Sue never turned away someone in need, and gave all respect. 

Reading the previous tributes assures me that I had every reason to think of Susie as a sister to be proud of and one that our Lord Jesus Christ will welcome into His Arms.

My prayer is for her children and grankids, that they will find comfort in our words here and in the love that Karen Sue had for them.

 Oh the fun we had and the good times I will remember..Out at Sammy and Craig's in the early 1990's and our New Year Eve party's.She's up there with Barb and with buddy Phy...Karen always talk of her kids and grandchildren... So do what we will do is hold on the all the goodtimes..And Charlie I wish I could see you I'd give you a big hug..you stood by Karen's side thru all of the hard times as well as the goodtimes..God Bless

Sue was not only my favorite aunt, but my friend.  She was so much fun and we will miss her so much.

i never thought i would be writing this so soon in my life or yours, there will never be words to say what you mean to me and how sad i am that your gone. my life is not only empty but nothing will ever be the same. you was my rock for 35 years,what am i to do now  a question that will never be answered. i am so lost with out you . i talk to you ever night just to go to sleep. i think of you ever morning on my way to work , i see you in my daughter ! thats the only way i get through the days... mom i miss you every min. every hour.every day. i love you . my hope is your not in pain and your happy, looking down on all of us with  a warm smile...... your daughter lisa bradshaw

Karen you are so missed by your kids and grandkids.  I sometimes wonder if Bill and Lisa will ever be the same.  We will all keep you alive in our hearts and our memories and Joe and I will make sure to tell your new grandbaby who is due in August all about you.  We miss you so much and I wish I could share this baby and pregnancy with you so much, you gave us this baby, we got pregnant two weeks after you passed. Please watch over all of us and please find a way to comfort Bill and Lisa they miss you dearly.

That night I went to bed I kissed my mom goodnight I didnot know it was a kiss goodbye, I remember how her face would light up with laughter and when she had joy in her heart everyone knew it. I remember opening resents and laughing with my family. I remember later that night we crowded, hugged, and cried. I always thought her smile could go on and on and on but the thing I wasn't ready for was the doctor saying, "I'm sorry she's gone" . That night before I went to bed I kissed my mom goodbye. I really, really wish it was only a kiss goodnight. I miss you so much mom Love you always your daughter Teresa

Lord, today our world stood still. soehow the news just didn't seem real. The call had come, you called mom home Lord we feel comforted, we know she didn't travel alone. Lord you picked a beautiful rose, her name was Karen she believed in you, and she had the faith. We don't worry about her, she is in good hands. Lord she was suffering, so you called her home we understand. We are going to miss her, she was our mom and dad combined into one, we know she is fine we know we will see her again in time. So Lord help us to find acceptance, and not to feel so sad we know you will take care, of our mom. Lord let us accept thy will tell mom we love, and miss her still. We know she is feeling great one day we'll join her and we cant wait.
