Kathleen Riggs

Kathleen Riggs, 81, of Mansfield, died Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at her residence. Born February 12, 1930, in Flushing, Ohio, she was the daughter of Albert and Virginia Renner Dunn. She had worked in Home Health Care as a private nurse and enjoyed riding Harley's, shopping, driving to West Virginia and trips with her family. Her greatest joy though were her great great grandchildren.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Kathy Hunter; two great grandchildren, Andrew and Ashley Kanz; three great great grandchildren, Shayla and Ava Kanz and Conner Wilson; two brothers, Charlie Susie Dunn of Wooster and Theodore Theresa Dunn of Wakeman, OH; four sisters, Bonnie Larry Becker, Sandra John Grosswiler, Patricia Ronald Grosswiler and Joyce Jose Zendejas all of Norwalk; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubbert Riggs; a daughter, Shirley Riggs McCellan; a son, Larry Riggs; three brothers, Albert Dunn, Terry Lockwood and Kermit Dunn; and four sisters, Ilene Goodrum, Joylynn Lockwood, Elaine Miller and Karen Lumbatis.

There will be no calling hours or services at this time. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family of Kathleen Riggs.
