Keith Rust, 84, of Shelby, died Friday, February 6, 2015 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Born July 7, 1930 in Fredericktown, he was the son of Robert and Mary Rust. Keith attended Caesarian Baptist Church worked for 38 years as a steel worker, overcoming any challenge to faithfully provide for his family. He also loved watching cowboy shows.
He is survived by his children, Ron (Teresa) Rust, Laura Rust (Iris), and Don Rust; grandchildren, Rodney, Brian, Santana, and Lenox, and great grandchildren, Theo, Charlotte, and Avery.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of almost 60 years, JoAnn and son, Jeff.
Services will be held at a later date. Wappner Funeral Directors is privileged to serve the family of Keith Rust.
