Kenneth C. Brissell, 67, of Candlewood Lake, Mt. Gilead, died Tuesday, February 8, 2005 in Galion Community Hospital after an extended illness. He was born August 12, 1937 in Kingsville, Ohio, the son of the late Irvin J. Brissell and the late Amy F. Sparks. Kenneth retired after 30 years of service with General Motors. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air force.
Surviving are three sons, David Karen Brissell of Galion, Kenneth Brissell, Jr. of Bucyrus, Craig Brissell; two daughters, Dixie and Jessica; brother, Duane Martha Brissell of Nashville, TN; sister, Marian Larry Hamaker of Carmel, IN; and his beloved cats, Baby and Spanky at home. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Irvin J. Brissell, Jr., and sister, Shirley Cook.
There will be no services or calling hours observed. The Diamond Street home of Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Richland County Humane Society.
