

Kenneth E. Ward, 67, of Mansfield, died Saturday, May 18, 2013 at MedCentral Mansfield after an extended illness. Born November 14, 1945 in Inez, Kentucky, he was the son of Edsel Ward and Rebecca (Mills) Dalton.
Ken was an area resident since 1956 and was a 1964 graduate of Shelby Senior High School. He was a hard worker and retired as a truck driver with the Teamsters. He enjoyed fishing, camping and hunting. Ken was known as a sharp dresser and a "jack of all trades" who centered his life around his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his mother and step father, Rebecca (James) Dalton of Shelby; three sons, Ken (Judie) Ward of Delaware, Ohio, Todd (Mindy) Ward of Butler, Ohio and David Ward of Ontario, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Andrew, Collin, Robert, Madison, Courtney, Caylee and Celsey; two brothers, Paul (Peggy) Ward of Tennessee and Harry (Kathy) Ward of Conneaut, Ohio; a sister, Virginia (Don) Argo of Shelby; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and very good friends. He was preceded in death by his father; a son, Chad Ward; and a grandson, Brian Ward.
Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
