
Kimberly Kay Eggerton Tracy, 38, of 3150 Kings Corners West Road, Lexington, Ohio died Saturday morning, February 9, 2002 as a result of an automobile accident. Kimberly was born August 23, 1963 in Mansfield living in the area all of her life. She was employed as a corrections officer at North Central Correctional Institute in Marion and was formerly employed at Armco Steel. Kimberly was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and served in the U.S. Air Force.
She is survived by two daughters, Britainy Leigh Tracy, 18, and Courtney Noel Tracy, 17; her former husband and special friend, Lee Tracy of Mansfield; mother, Bobbie West Amos and father, Gene Eggerton III, both of Mansfield; her maternal grandparents, Robert & Zettie West of Tarpon Springs, Florida; her grandmother, Thelma Owens of Shelby; mother-in-law, Eleanor Tracy, two sisters, Yvonne Eggerton of Mansfield and Shannon Eggerton of Shelby; two nephews, Schuyler and Hunter; three nieces, Ashley, Devin and Sydnee; aunts, uncles and cousins; and dear friends, Becky Sharp of Phoenix, Arizona, and Rick Castle and Lisa Waddell, both of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her father, Dick Owens; maternal grandmother, Betty West Crosby; paternal grandparents, Eugene, Jr. & Mary Eggerton; and paternal grandfather, Walter Owens.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Monday from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by Father Herb Weber. Military services will be held at Lexington Cemetery.
