He was the owner and operator of Kurt's Concrete and had played professional soccer in Germany and had also played for the Liederkranz. Kurt was well liked and had a great sense of humer. He enjoyed Christmas and cooking but his greatest joy was his family as he dearly loved them.
He is survived by a daughter, Angela Anderson of Naperville, IL; a son, Richard (Ginger) Schlumberger of Mansfield; two grandchildren, Aaron and Amanda Schlumberger; two great grandchildren, Jaden and Jordan Schlumberger; two brothers, Horst Karl Schlumberger of Mansfield and Harold Schlumberger of Germany; a sister, Helga Kuhlmann of Canton; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives in both the United States and Germany. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Abi Schlumberger.
There will be no calling hours or services.
