Leslie C. 'Claudie' Stacy, age 53, born to Claude and Dixie Stacy on June 21st, 1957 in West Liberty, KY, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2010 at his home surrounded by friends and family and his dogs, Panda and Blu. He fought a courageous battle with cancer. He is now with his dad in Heaven and his Heavenly Father. You had asked where Dad was, and we told you in Heaven. You said 'I know, but where'', we told you to go look for him and you will find him, and you said, 'Ok.' What a great reunion that must be, although we will all miss you. We watched your battle and we are happy that you no longer have to fight. Les had a love for woodworking, riding his Harley Davidson, and growing his little garden. Old cars were his passion, and he loved his dogs dearly.
He is survived by his mother, Dixie Stacy who will hold him in her heart forever. His brothers, Tony Lisa Stacy, Tim Jenni Stacy, and Joe Stacy; sister, Brenda Thom Esterline; nephews, Jacob and Joshua Hergatt, Timmy and David Stacy, Travis Stacy, Little Joe Stacy, and Justin Heidi and David Bethany Esterline; nieces, Jessica Evans, and Grace and Emily Stacy; and special family members, uncles Jimmy and Richard, cousin Charles, aunts Diane, Pauline, and Ella, and many extended family members and he loved all of you. Also surviving are his very special friends, Mark Heller, John Brooks, Dan Zgela, Jimmy Morris, and Les's neighbor, Todd, and all the guys he worked with at Bayworld. He loved his window you all worked so hard on just days before his passing he could look out and see Heaven. He was preceded in death by his dad, Claude J. Stacy and grandparents, Daddy Bob and Mama Johnson, Thom and Dolly Stacy, and grandpa Les Helterbrand.
