

Letha M. "Lee" Kegley, 89, of Mansfield, died Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at OhioHealth MedCentral Mansfield. Born May 3, 1925 in Olive Hill, KY, she was the daughter of Paul and Cloma (Stephens) Hensley. Letha met Roger Kegley on March 3, 1944 and they were married on May 3, 1944 and traveled to Mansfield for their honeymoon. The honeymoon lasted 61 1/2 year. She was a homemaker and molded her life around her family, home, and church. A member of Faith Chapel, Letha was determined to get her family into heaven using her life as an example. She was always generous with her time and enjoyed cooking and baking and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Diana (Larry) Coon of Mansfield; grandchildren, Brian (Carla) Coon, Wendy (Todd) Hunt, Tracy (Bob) Whitaker, all of Mansfield; great grandchildren, Andrew Hunt, Ben Whitaker, Emily Whitaker, Abby (Doug) Humphrey, Derek Dixon, Samantha Coon, and Megan Coon; great great grandchild, Braxton Humphrey; sister-in-law, Glorius Hensley of Olive Hill, KY; and nieces in Ashland and Olive Hill, KY.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Ivan Kegley on November 27, 2006 and brothers, Paul Hensley, Jr. and George Hensley.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 24, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd., Ontario, conducted by Rev. Perry Brafford. Friends may call prior to the service from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
