Linda Hart

Born August 1, 1948 in Portsmouth, Virginia, she was the daughter of Louis H. Jr. and Julia (Carlsen) Seebo. She was a graduate of Churchland High School, Portsmouth, Virginia. She married Glade Hart on January 31, 1973. As an administrative assistant, Linda worked at the Portsmouth Virginia Chamber of Commerce, Sears Auto Center, Ontario, Ohio, and recently retired from the North Central Tech Prep Consortium at North Central State College.

Linda was proud of her sewing, painting, cooking, and gardening. Her favorite vacation memories were the seashores of the Outer Banks and listening to the waves beat against the shore. She was especially proud of her two sons and their accomplishments.

She was preceded in death by her father, Louis H. Seebo, Jr.

She is survived by her mother, Julia (Carlsen) Seebo of Carrsville, Virginia; her husband of 39 years, Glade Hart; her sons, G. Evan (Karen) Hart, Jr. of Bristow, Virginia and Donald L. (Bethany) Hart of Orrville, Ohio; her granddaughter, Katrina Elise Hart of Orrville; her sisters, Barbara (John) Santos of Winter Park, Florida, Patricia (Carl) Ackiss of Portsmouth, Virginia, Margaret (Steven) Bickley of Carrsville, Virginia, and Beverly (Claude) Hardison of Suffolk, Virginia; and her brother, Louis H. (Diana) Seebo III of Hendersonville, North Carolina.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday, May 18, 2012 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario. A memorial service will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the funeral home officiated by Pastor W. Kent Joy of First United Methodist Church, Mansfield, Ohio. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Gideon’s Society or Hospice of North Central Ohio.
